The two committees have set up meetings for the following dates*:

Outreach Committee:

Finance Committee:
Tuesday, June 17, 7:30 PM

*NOTE: We understand that the location and/or time of these meetings may not be convenient for all interested individuals. Please be in touch if you would like to participate (even if you are unable to attend the above meetings) so we can work out how you can be involved.

Boston Conference
Leadership and Healing in Times of Crisis

Dilemmas, Opportunities and Community Resilience
June 19 - 20, 2003

America's Professional Social Workers is proud to join Simmons College in co-sponsoring the Leadership and Healing in times of Crisis conference. The conference offers 10CEs and promises to be a truly unique and inpiring event.

This conference is designed to create a dialogue and develop models for practice across a variety of disciplines, including emergency services, fire/rescue, media, medicine, mental health, public safety, victim advocacy and religion, and define the skill sets required to manage trauma and provide leadership in times of crisis whether the crisis is large or small.

Using this shared understanding, conference participants will examine new and existing collaborations, partnerships, and support systems in order to develop more effective models for crisis intervention and long-term support and healing.
